Here are some shots from a couple of days ago when I went out to the Plaza de Armas with my roomie. There was this terrible run in with a waiter! We went to find a restaurant, and Los Torrinos or something like that had a killer deal $10 for soup, main course and dessert. They said they excepted Visa, so we sit down, have an awesome meal, talked with our Norwegian table neighbors, and then when we had to pay the waiter would not take my credit card! It was awful! I had to run down to the plaza and try to find an ATM, but I didn't have a PIN number for my credit card, so I had to go back to the restaurant and beg the waiter to take my card. He had given us a check for 43 soles and then told us the price was 22 soles more, and only charged 45 soles on my card, so we're walking down the street discussing how ridiculous that situation was and the waiter is running after us for the difference that he didn't charge me. The moral of this story is that waiter was crooked, and was trying to pocket the difference and I'm not sure what his living situation is, but it was very stressful being bullied like that because he wanted 30 extra soles. Not to mention I left him a substantial tip for his "troubles" allowing us to use the card. It was a stupid third world adventure that instigated much debate on how many ways we were swindled. I know if I had been at Target, there would have been no trouble. Target would have protected me.
Gotta run and eat something so unhealthy, last night was Ramen just for the college experience. While you eat your hearty soups cry for me into your empty bowl...

Target accepts all major credit cards. Target associates are unwilling to accept gratuities from customers. Target loves you
Bo-beather
It just goes to show all the soles in the world are not worth one's soul. The manager might not be on board with all of that.
